Rose M. Pantazis,
Attorney at Law

I have been married 50 years and have three children. My oldest daughter, Annemarie, is an attorney in Charlotte, N.C., who specializes in workman’s compensation. My son, Christopher, is a research scientist for the Advanced Institute of Research and Technology in Danville, VA. I am fortunate to have my youngest daughter, Laura, work with me as my legal assistant and office administrator. I have two grandchildren, Kira and Alexander.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Mary Washington College in 2001. I participated in the law reader program under the Virginia State Bar from 2001-2004 and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar as counselor and attorney at law on November 1, 2004.

I am a member of the Virginia State Bar,  Fredericksburg Area Bar Association (FABA), former chairman of the FABA Family Law Section, and certified as a Collaborative Divorce Attorney.

I am a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stafford, VA, and I am presently serving on Church Council and as an assistant Sunday School teacher.

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as the legal assistant to the legal adviser to the FCC Commissioner; legal assistant to a division chief and an administrative law judge for the FCC; and legal assistant to a local attorney.

Prior to my retirement, my primary areas of practice included Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills & Estates, and general Civil Litigation.

Laura Pantazis,
Former Paralegal (2006 - 2016)

Laura was raised in Stafford, Virginia and received her bachelor of science degree in Environmental Sciences with a Concentration in Geology from Mary Washington College in 2003.

Between 2004 and 2006, she worked in Washington, D.C. as a court researcher and title examiner.  She also was a private process server for local attorneys between 1998 and 2020.

Laura was happy to have had the opportunity to work with her mother on a daily basis, serving as her paralegal, office administrator, and bookkeeper.

In 2016, Laura became a freelance paralegal.  A year later, she entered into the Virginia Law Reader Program with Rose Pantazis serving as her supervising attorney.  Laura passed the bar in 2020 and was admitted into the Virginia State Bar on November 10, 2020.

Laura now has her own law office, Pantazis Law Office, PLLC.  She now shares office space with her mother.
